Define your Personal Brand worksheet 4: Goals

7th March 2010 | BC2010 | Add comment

The last tasks before the conference are:

  1. Write down your goals in the sense of what your services-products are that you wish to offer. You can write ALL that you can think of but then choose a focus, 1-2 services-products you are going to work further right now.
  2. Target-group – define a target-group for (every) the goal (service, product) as precisely as possible (who could need your product? How old he/she is, does he/she live in a defined region? Are they connected with some special field?
  3. Market – who are your competitors? Is the product-service already on the market? Who and how? How does it differentiate? How your previous knowledge and skills give your service and product a unique side?

I suggest you choose one main goal for the conference and start working with it strategically there.

2. As who do you like to introduce yourself?

The company also owns a travel agency „Incentive travel“ and household items shop „Zwilling“ Stalas ir virtuve“.

I have been general manager of this company for 10 years. We used to control 4 star 89- room hotel in Vilnius city center „CityPark Hotel“ and an Italian restaurant  „Rossini“. 2 years ago we sold it successfully. I am representer of stockholders in the company – it is a family business. Now I work mainly with marketing and communication. I also represent the company in the business meetings and PR events.

I think my strong side is talking about quality of services in restaurants and hotels, about positioning, sales. I truly believe that there is not so many experts like me in Lithuania.

I also have a personal and business-related  experience working with journalists and communication in general. Few year ago I took a dance show challenge in TV, which gave me a lot of knowledge in how to represent myself and how to act publicly.

Active participation in public activities, good reputation – it is advantage comparing with others.

5. How did you get there where you are now?
Firs of all you need a big desire to learn continuously and prepare to work a lot. But it is not enough. I think inner charisma helped me a lot, because media found me and the popularity directly influenced my business

6. What was the most important lesson in creating your personal brand? What suggestions you have to others?

The most important lesson – you must believe yourself. Only then will others value you. It must not only be blank belief, it requires to read a lot, to analize, to learn. I think how you look is also very important. You should take care of yourself – how you dress.

And positive thinking is not less important – you must always be in a good mood and share it with others, to love people and be ready to help others. When it happens naturaly – wave of success comes very fast.

7. How do you know that you are successful in your area of expertise?
In my opinion, knowledge that we are probably one of the best restaurant and hotel in Vilnius, let me think – it is our success indicator. Often I have been asked to consult other who faces with difficulties in those business sectors or who planning to start new business.
