Personal Brand is a person’s identity that stimulates meaningful emotional reaction of a person’s values or characteristics. - Timothy O’Brian
Karl Jaspers, German philosopher, doctor and a psychiatrist has said that to manage in this era of mass-culture one needs to create his/her own inner management system – his/her own philosophy, what to follow and what not. Taking care of a brand called You, helps you to consistently analyze yourself and make conclusions of your development and give a clear message to others about who you are, what you value and what you are good at. This applies to a student still in search of his/her possibilities (or someone in their second youth, who looks for new challenges), for an employee, who wishes to grow within his/her work field and get better and better projects at work; not to mention an entrepreneur wishing to sell his/her product or services. The aim of the creation of a personal brand is to find that something that differentiates you from others, doing it through identifying personal characteristics.
The goal of the JCI Baltic Spring Conference 2010 „Pimp yourself. A path to your very own niche“is to help you find your niche, your area of expertise and to offer you tools to be excellent in that. The worksheets are divided into four parts:
The worksheets will take approximately 15-25 minutes to fill in and are in line with the conference goals, helping you to take the maximum of it. Bring the filled worksheets to the conference, the trainers are taking the pre-work into account. So FILL the worksheets, SAVE them and TAKE them to the CONFERENCE.
